Senior Rehabilitation Consultant (South)

Based in Hobart, Jackson is an experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, specialising in complex workers compensation claims and long-term physical and psychological injuries, including chronic conditions, persistent pain conditions and claims involving industrial grievances.
Jackson has worked in a senior capacity within the rehabilitation industry for government and private clients, including in the workers’ compensation, non- compensable and income protection sub-sectors. His area of expertise is the management of psychological claims and is able to perform mental status examinations and administer particular pen and paper assessments/screening tools.

Jackson has a proactive and strategic approach to managing claims and a sound understanding of the Tasmanian workers’ compensation legislation, workplace rehabilitation processes and work health and safety. Jackson has a proven track-record in achieving optimal rehabilitation outcomes with a focus on active client participation and promotion of self-efficacy and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Jackson’s relevant qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Behavioural Science
• Graduate Diploma/Master in Rehabilitation Counselling
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Jackson is a full member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).
